This recording was made by Hoagy Carmichael and his Orchestra on September 15, 1930, the day of Bix’s last appearance on wax. This recording appears in Rust’s discography and in the Sunbeam set including Bix.
Sudhalter and Evans, and Evans and Evans specifically state that Bix did not play in this recording. The side is not included in the Masters of Jazz set.
Evans and Evans quote Hoagy who states:
Bix did not play in One Night in Havana.
