BVE 31212-1 or -4 – Adoration (Borowski-arr: George Crozier)
A press article, published in Davenport at the time these titles were recorded, indicated that Bix was playing on “Honest and Truly”, the second title recorded on that day. It was also suggested (Jean Goldkette Bands, a Timeless’ CD, CBC 1-084) that Frank Trumbauer could be heard on “Play Me Slow”, the first title recorded during this session, the name of George Williams being “presumably a pseudonym to conceal Trumbauer’s presence”. No evidence confirms either proposal.
